Didattica di base con Chiara:
Mese del carnevale: conosciamo la sua tradizione.
Esprimiamoci con creatività: i bambini progettano e realizzano, sperimentando tecniche espressive diverse, maschere e addobbi scegliendoli in base ai propri gusti, utilizzando anche forme geometriche per produrre opere astratte.
Cooperiamo attraverso il lavoro in piccoli gruppi, memorizziamo poesie e filastrocche di carnevale.
Condividiamo con i compagni la preparazione della festa.
Potenziamo la creatività, l' espressività di ogni bambino attraverso i travestimenti.
Psicomotricità
Giochiamo con i travestimenti: esprimiamoci liberamente interpretando storie e personaggi inventati o reali, seguendo percorsi creati da noi.
Il bambino costruisce la propria identità passando dall' interpretazione di altre identità tramite la finzione.
Mette in gioco parti di se stesso tramite l' altro, affrontando anche le sue paure inespresse scoprendo opportunità di viverle in terza persona.
Grazie al gioco dei travestimenti si sviluppano anche la motricità e l' autonomia, racchiuse nei gesti che il bambino compie per vestirsi e vestirsi.

4 and 5 yrs old: Revised shapes and numbers 1-20 – Children chose the worksheet they liked best and coloured it.
On each worksheet they had to colour only the shapes along a path, which involved the ability to choose
among different shapes and follow a pattern (logic)

English with Sheevy
During February we have focused on WRITING SKILLS (in english) by setting some tracing activities (ex: dot to dot) related to numbers and shapes.
The children started to develop the ability to recognise the different letters and learn how to pronounce different letters together.
They are slowly starting to TRANSCRIBE words and READING them properly. This is going to be a long process as the activities involved are complex, but the children are reacting well and they are doing very good.
We have also worked on MATHS, in particular simple ADDITIONS.
We have introduced some PREPOSITIONS OF PLACE AND DIRECTION (on, in, between, under, behind, in front of); the children are starting to get familiar with these words and how to use them.
February is Valentine and Carnivals’ month so we have done some art works related to these two events. We have made some lovely cards for you and also learnt a special Valentine’s rhyme which I hope the children sang to you and you enjoyed it.
For Carnival Day we have created some masks and had so much fun in the garden.

Mese connesso alla trasformazione, per la ricorrenza della festività del Carnevale.
Sia con i Mezzani ed i Grandi abbiamo riflettuto sul concetto di trasformazione con l'esperienza, grazie alle sperimentazioni Bruno Munari inerenti alla carta, alla forma e ad i formati; partendo da un foglio A4 da stampante bianco, siamo intervenuti pensandolo a come un oggetto 3D, lo abbiamo suonato, stracciato, piegato, tagliato ma in tutte le varianti possibili, ovvero: "In quanti modi riusciamo a piegare la carta? Quanti tipi di strappi potrei comporre? E il taglio e lo stropiccio?".
In seguito a queste attività svolte con molta concentrazione e cura abbiamo creato delle sculture di carta avvalendoci del filo di ferro sottile, argentato.
Progettazione dell'allestimento sensoriale "La stanza della Carta"
Le prime piscine sensoriali risalgono ai laboratori Munariani a fine anni settanta; sia Montessori che Reggio Emilia Approach hanno valorizzato questo aspetto in diverse espressioni.
"La stanza della carta" prende spunto da diverse metodologie didattiche e si trasforma in un'esperienza tutta da vivere, per il corpo e le espressioni connesse; grazie al dialogo con le aziende del territorio è stato possibile nella totale sicurezza, fare riferimento a carta di recupero che sarà poi riciclata.
