Mese di Novembre, Mezzani e Grandi
Didattica di base con Chiara:
"Caccia al numero " : troviamo il numero, lo riproduciamo e contiamo.
Iniziamo a sommare i primi numeri aiutandoci con le dita e con i pastelli.
Attraverso queste esperienze i bambini elaborano e conquistano concetti logico- matematici.
13 novembre: giornata della gentilezza.. questa ricorrenza ci offre lo spunto per invitare i bambini a riflettere sull' importanza di essere gentili e rispettosi con gli altri.
Costruiamo il villaggio della gentilezza; impariamo la poesia.
20 novembre: giornata dei diritti dell' infanzia ..in cerchio, discussione sui vari diritti dei bambini, scegliamo il diritto che più ci piace, lo rappresentiamo, creiamo il palloncino e impariamo la poesia.

Giochi ed esercizi di destrezza
Giochi con palla e cerchi.
Materiale diverso per volume, peso e consistenza permette un progressivo adattamento degli esercizi alle possibilità del bambino.
Esercizi che permettono di acquisire la padronanza del meccanismo del gioco, del corpo e dello spazio gestuale ( passaggi della palla da una mano all' altra, lancio a destra ruotando il tronco..).

Monday 8th
Mezzani and Grandi
Worked on shapes (square, rectangle, triangle, circle) and adjectives (big, medium, small).
Worksheet: trace the triangles and colour: the triangle pink, the square brown, the circle purple.
Tuesday 9th
Worked on number 1 to 10 recognition : Using the board the teacher wrote numbers randomly and children had to read and then circle them.
Worksheets: 1)Number identification check-in (circle the number that matches the amount of objects)
2) Practice tracing number 3 and number 6
Thursday 11th
Revised rhyme “An autumn greeting” and coloured the worksheet.
Children made their own number wheel to play with mates and parents at home.
They also learned to read 5 colour nouns: green, blue, yellow, red and white.
Functional language: Turn, turn, turn ….stop!
What colour is number ………………….? Yes /No
Monday 22nd
Grandi and Mezzani worked together.
Topic: Christmas words
Activity : Christmas find: colour only the Christmas objects
Tuesday 23rd
Maths Thanksgiving addition – 1) Children practiced adding numbers using little square tiles and maths punctuation + and = Worksheet: Thanksgiving simple addition that focused on writing numbers and colouring.
Thursday, 25th
Decorated the classroom for Christmas all together.
Maths: cut and paste the missing number in the sequence and the colour.
Started to teach the Christmas rhyme “Why are holly berries red?”

Maths: played with number flashcards 1 to 10
Worksheets: 1) Practiced tracing the number 8, find and circle 8 cupcakes and colour the objects
Thursday 4th
Game: Sitting in circle children got a number then they answered the question:
What number have you got? I have number …………………………..
Played Chinese whisper with numbers 1 to 10 and a 1 – 10 memory game.
Worksheet: All about number 3 (trace number 3, find things which are 3 and circle them,
Colour the pictures and spot the number 3 on them)
Monday 15th
Mezzani and Grandi worked together: The topic of the day was Thanksgiving celebration, the teachers explained the meaning of this festival, then children watched a video that explained the story of Thanksgiving and eventually they coloured “The Turkey” worksheet.
Tuesday 16th
Played musical chairs, worked on number 1 to 10 recognition and tracing.
Worksheet: children helped the turkey to find to find his feathers tracing numbers and colouring the stepping stones.
Thursday 18th
Working with numbers 1 to 10: 1) each child was given a handful of small square tiles 2) the teacher wrote a number on the board the children read it and formed the number using the tiles 3) worksheet: 3 and 6 tracing and colouring
Monday 29th
Mezzani and grandi worked together.
Rehearsed Christmas songs and taught them the “Little pine tree” rhyme.
Then mezzani traced and coloured the worksheet “Decorate the Christmas tree by tracing the lines!”
Tuesday 30th
Rehearsed Christmas songs and rhyme.
Children coloured the Christmas present for their parents.
Logic: worksheet “Santa on his sleigh”- children cut and pasted the number tiles in the correct order.

This month we have worked on SHAPES and THANKSGIVING
We have set different activities using the wooden shapes to create different things (house, car, etc..) and worksheets to recognise and distinguish the different shapes.
We have worked on Thanksgiving, learning the origin of the festivity and knowing more about it using flashcards and watching interesting videos.
We have made some activities (colour the turkey,thanksgiving dinner).
We have learnt a song about Thanksgiving called “I AM A LITTLE TURKEY” that the children loved to sing.
We have also discussed about what we are greatful for as this is the meaning oh the festivity and it was nice to hear the children responses.

Percussioni con Mirko
Con moltissimo entusiasmo ci siamo dedicati completamente all'esibizione che faremo a Dicembre per la festa del Natale.
I bambini consapevoli di mettersi alla prova davanti ad un pubblico, hanno mostrato un grandissimo interesse nel voler imparare a memoria le parti cantate e ritmiche di alcune canzoni di Natale.
Jengle bells, Din Don Dan,
Buon Natale in Allegria, Last christmas. Questi sono alcuni titoli delle canzoni che sono state preparate, per festeggiare il gran giorno. Insieme alla parte ritmica e cantata abbiamo inserito anche delle piccole "coreografie" per coinvolgere anche con un semplice battito di mani chi ci osserva.

Creazione e sperimentazione "Libri".
Creazione dei libri "Menabò" con pagine dalle forme diverse.
In tipografia, per menabò si intende un modello utilizzato per l'impaginazione di stampati di diverse pagine (libri, giornali o riviste); ogni bambini ha poi narrato, costruito e disegnato la propria storia.
Collage di sensory strings utilizzando materiali dai contrasti sensoriali, il collage è stato realizzato con colla vinilica e pennello.
Inizio delle Sperimentazioni "Forma e Formati" di Bruno MUnari.
Laboratorio "Segni Mossi"
Segni Mossi è un progetto su movimento e segno grafico per bambini e adulti a cura di Alessandro Lumare e Simona Lobefaro. Partendo dal presupposto che danza e disegno sono due modi di lasciare un segno, abbiamo pensato un laboratorio dove poter sperimentare le conseguenze di questa intuizione. Non un’attività multidisciplinare quindi quanto piuttosto un'occasione per riscoprire insieme un'unità tra linguaggi considerati solitamente separati. In Segni Mossi le produzioni grafiche come quelle coreutiche sono tracce di processi: ci interessa vivere queste esperienze.
I bambini hanno lavorato a coppie e nel piccolo gruppo:
si sono lasciati guidare bendati da un loro compagno o compagna, hanno esplorato lo spazio bendati, hanno interagito con il segno nel gruppo singoli e con performance con il segno e il disegno.
